Opelsings is a R&B singer/songwriter raised in New Haven, CT. from the age of one. She studied music theory at Cooperative Arts and Humanities performing arts school, where she would meet and form a quartet called “Monje”.
They went on to win 1st place on BET’s Teen Summit Talent Competition on national tv and became the youngest recipients at the time to be awarded the Duke Ellington Award from the Yale School of Jazz Music. The attention followed opportunities for them to open for artists such as Jodeci, Immature, Changing Faces and work with amazing producers like, The Clemons brothers, Teddy Riley, Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers to name a few. Opel moved back to her birth place of London to attend university, later becoming a session singer/backing vocalist. Her debut sparked a fire in her to release a string of singles, “Sleep Alone” “WYD” “Addicted, “S.O.S” and “Looking For Love” with genius Producer Kardo Blonde. This featured on DJ Ace playlist on BBC Radio 1Xtra, 94.3 the Rhythm of the City and several other predominant FM stations. Opelsings has performed at the historic Hootannany, The Vortex jazz club and The Windrush Radiate festival to name a few. She now presents a collaboration with mega producer Chazz Oliver called “Stay” delivering her sweet soulful vocals and signature harmonies on this seductive record and ”My Love” released in October 2024. Opelsings is truly blazing her own trail as an independent artist on the UK R&B music scene.

Its been a love of mine all my life, but the passing of a close friend in 2017 inspired me to live my life without regrets..

My current single, released in October, is an uptempo love song about pushing through adversity and forgiveness to see what love can be on the other side..
