Brandi Christine Huang (maiden “McDonald”; Born March 31,1980) Originally born in Port Charlotte Fl but spent most of her youth growing up in Cleveland Ohio.
Her 2019 EP Split Personality helped her gain some traction and she headed into the next decade with additional singles like 2021’s “Don’t Go There”, 2022’s “Underneath It All” (featuring Adult Contemporary singer Michael Cagle) and “Never Enough” Featuring Roger Fisher of HEART. In 2023 she joined the roster for “Big Records”.
This past year, Brandiwyne has been nominated for many music awards, including “Homegrown Music Awards”, “WA State Independent Music Awards”, “Indie Song Writer Awards”, “Rampage Music Awards” , Josie Music awards, and FPCM International “ Red Carpet Music Awards” in various categories for each. To date, Brandiwyne has won over 14 awards in 2024 for their music, has been featured in 3 music Magazines and continues to perform nationally.
BrandiWyne strives to give back & support the Youth Arts programs in her area. She supports Charities who raise awareness about bullying and Domestic Abuse., both through her music and her time as well as being an avid supporter of Verran’s support charities.

How long have you been making music?
Professionally the past 6 years, but have been involved in music all my life.

Mixed

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Ive always grown up around music and it was my “safe space”. Its a part of who I am.

What are your biggest musical influences?
Aretha Franklin, Motown, Pink, Evanescence , Journey , Aerosmith.. ( too many really)

Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
Im with “Big Records” which is a label , but functions more like an indie artist service provider. We control much of what we do and have a say in how much we want done.

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Getting over the age stigma and feeling confident as a female in the industry.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
Second Chance At Love is about finding the courage to let someone in and try again after having your heart completely broken… and the unexpected joy it can hold.

Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
“Yellow Rose Project” has 3 original songs planned for 2025 with the EP adding a few unique covers. BrandiWyne’s more common style will be releasing 3 more singles ( with the next being “Dancing with the Devil”) and a “Covers That Rock (Part Deux)” cd later in the year. There will also be a “Nightmare Before Christmas” style holiday song in October!!
