Where are you based?
Western Australia
How long have you been making music?
I recorded my first song at age 11
What genre would you consider your music to be?
Pop Rock (but I love to experiment and not confine myself to a genre)
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I performed with my school choir at an arena in front of 10k people, I have a one line solo and after that moment, I knew what I wanted to do with the rest of my life, lol.
What are your biggest musical influences?
I have a few, but my main one would be Avril Lavigne, which is heard in my music, I love her pop rock vibes, it is definitely something that influences my music, but then I would also say Olivia Rodrigo would be an inspiration as the vibes of her music are similar to what I want to achieve. But when it comes to songwriting, I take a lot of inspiration from Taylor Swift, her story telling, her clever lyrics, and imagination
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I am currently independent
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
My biggest challenge is coming up with the funds to produce to music at the rate I would like to.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
2 Albums and a Single
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
“You Know You Kinda Like It” is about the thrill of a tumultuous relationship. It’s emotional duel where both people are equally matched, enjoying the tension and conflict that fuels their connection, which only drives them to be better.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I have a track for release on February the 7th Called “No Main Character”. This is a really fun experimental song that I had a lot of fun writing. I was in the mindset of, what if I thought of it as a movie scene, but then it turned into a whole deeper meaning. Just because you are in the background of someone else’s life, doesn’t mean you need to be a background character in your own life. I hope people take away from it, that life changes and just because you might feel like you’re not seen at one point, the next moment you could be living life to the fullest, yes life can be a bit of a rollercoaster.
