This song embodies my own experience with summers. The good and the bad is represented in the verse and the chorus respectively. Its written in a way that I think alot of people can relate to. Having someone special on your mind is a great thing, but being alone is also a harsh truth for many people out there, this song is just that, two sides to the same coin.
