We are the Most Beautiful People | Adults with Disabilities documentary presents intimate and unforgettable stories collected from a wide array of persons with disabilities from around the world. We are honored to share these authentic experiences with an international audience. Our world is centered on the rights and needs of non-disabled people. Interviews in the film provide rich insights and substantiate the marginalization of interviewees’ experiences including themes of ableism, racism, intersectionality, worldwide inequities, and the difference between Disability Rights and Disability Justice. In a social media driven culture, humankind pursues superficial concepts of beauty. This film challenges these notions.This film pulls back the veil, urging people to rethink how they engage with all humans in the world. Movie January 2024

Emmy award winner, Toni Hickman, for the song Rising Pheonix (documentary about the Paralympics) 2021. Born in New York, raised in New Orleans. She lived in Atlanta and Houston at different times of her life, and went back to Harlem. She loved in New York off and on. Toni was signed to a well-known rap label in the south and was featured on gold and platinum albums before she eventually had her 2nd brain aneurysm, and first stroke. & was told she may never speak or walk again.
