Independent recording artist MDaath drops a new single “Nature Sounds” featuring Philadelphia native Hezekiah. The two artists linked up in 2022, around the time of the pandemic, when the independent recording artist commissioned Hezekiah for production. Upon laying down the first verse, Hezekiah had already structured the hook around nature. Being inspired by the difficulty of writing a verse around the topic of nature, MDaath delivered a scathing verse that added contrast to Hezekiah’s ominous production. Sending the track back to the Grammy Award-nominated producer and Philadelphia “Beat Society” founder, Hezekiah was inspired by the effort to tackle an unpopular topic and delivered a second jaw-dropping verse about the ills of the world and the importance of not being distracted by technology. The track ends with a powerful speech from Native Tongues alumni, the legendary Busta Rhymes, stating that you can’t even breathe with a mask on.
