However throughout his early teens, he started experimenting with lyrics and became a massive fan of rap and uk grime music. After leaving school, Zealot then went to study music production at Preston’s College; where he graduated with a Level 3 Extended Diploma. Intent on making his dream a reality, he also began gigging around the north west of England.
In 2015, Zealot landed his biggest gig to date, supporting highly popular rapper Bugzy Malone in Liverpool. This resulted in numerous support slots, preceding artists such as Invasion Alert and Lunar C. In addition to live performances, Zealot has also competed in a dozen rap battles and grime clashes, featuring on platforms such as Dont Flop and Words Are Weapons.
In previous years, Zealot has been spending hours in the studio perfecting his craft. Capitalising on the momentum from his 2019 EP ‘The Flip Side’, he has already released two music videos, two freestyle videos and three audio tracks in 2020. Zealot aims to finish the year strong and if snippets across his social media are anything to go by, he certainly appears on target.
