Short bio
My name is Juri Glover and on stage I go by YSL Saint Jay. I’m located in Dallas now but I’ve been all over. I was born in Memphis moved to Mississippi then Virginia and now Dallas, Texas. Moving around a lot gave me the opportunity to see a lot of different ideals and lifestyles to further expand my way of thinking. Seeing so many different lifestyles and way of life allows me to relate to others more than anyone else I know.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
My grandma use to sing and she’s my favorite family member. Growing up I spent all my time with her watching westerns and playing cards and singing till we lose our voices. When I was young she got me into playing piano and singing; later on my love for singing and piano evolved into rapping and making beats.
What are your biggest musical influences?
I have had a lot of fun and made a lot of mistakes so all my life has been preparing me to make music that actually tells a story that others can relate to.

Im an independent artist
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Doing everything all by myself I’m my own manager booking agent and marketing team!
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
5 singles so far and my EP is dropping on April 15
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
My last song I made is a turn up song for after a break up I had it helped me get over it honestly.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
My EP has been named “GOD TALK” and is dropping on April 15
