
Sydney Hansen is an 18-year-old southern rock singer-songwriter. Sydney hails from Duluth, Minnesota and has been traveling back and forth to Nashville writing with some of the biggest writers in music. She is also working very closely with famous producer Kent Wells. (Dolly Parton, Reba and more)

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Growing up going to concerts at Bayfront Festival in my hometown influenced my love for music. Music was all around me so I decided that I wanted to make my own and I fell in love with that process.

Chris Stapleton, Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, Miley Cyrus, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, etc

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
The biggest challenge I’ve faced in my music career is the challenges that came with being a leader in a band. But I took that challenge as a lesson that has blessed me with more wisdom and perseverance.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
I released my original “Somebody’s Nobody” on February 14th. I wrote this hard hitting song in Nashville with Bill DiLuigi. The song is about not taking any disrespect from a man and not being an ordinary girl in someone’s life. I’m so ready for everyone to hear it!
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I just completed a 5 song project that are almost ready to be released, and working on a 10 song project that is nearly complete. I am also planning on doing tours in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Florida, Nevada, California, and Tennessee. I can’t to see what 2022 will bring for my music career !
