Since forming in 2009, the band has played some of Chicago’s most renowned stages, blasting out finely crafted bursts of crowd-pleasing rock n’ roll.
Superbig meshes bright guitar riffs, soothing backing harmonies, driving drum beats, and powerful lead vocals to tell their story of desperate living, failed relationships, personal crisis and obvious bad life choices.
Where are you based?

I have been writing music since high school from the first battle of the band to the present day Superbig lineup
What genre would you consider your music to be?
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
It’s more of an addiction than an inspiration.
What are your biggest musical influences?
John Lennon, Damien Rice, Weezer & The Strokes
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Fuck, every single step has been a challenge. But the biggest challenge is finding the right people to play with.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I have released a lot of EP’s over the years but our latest release “Barely Holding On” is my first full scale project
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
It has some of my most favorite song’s that I have ever written. From by heavy rock roots in the song Barely Holding on while also being able to record the song Words that Kill with members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. I think it really rocks and there is a void that needs to be filled. I think it rocks the fuck out of the house.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
We are currently shooting our second video for the song Overboard and then after that producing a video for the song For You. We also will be hitting the road in June on a Southeast tour that includes stops in Nashville, St. Louis, and Indianapolis along with some huge Chicago Summer Festivals.
