I’m from Cleveland, Ohio. I’m currently active duty in the US Navy and decided to pursue my dreams after I gave my life away to Christ in 2021 of may. I am a Christian artist that’s music is in relation to God, visions, testimonies, warnings received to deliver to the people.
Where are you based?
I’m currently based in Norfolk, Virginia due to service reasons. Soon I’ll be going down to Miami,Florida.
How long have you been making music?
I’ve been making music for 1 year, 11 months. March 2023 will mark 2 years.
What genre would you consider your music to be?
I consider my music to fall under the Christian field, for which I stand for Christ I make music in his name.
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Since 5th grade-12th grade from playing musical instruments such as; Trumpet, Piano, French horn, ocarina, harmonica then I evolved into the technology side of music and start producing my own tracks from 9-12 grade. During these years I’ve participated in band, marching band, Jazz band, festivals our school held and competitions. My favorite was Jazz band since it allowed me to step out of my comfort zone with the opportunity to do solos! So this is a natural gift I have thanks be to God.
What are your biggest musical influences?
I would consider Christ to be my only influence. The reason for that is he gave me this gift and it’s a gift that I can share with others. I don’t really have an artist out there that I’m influenced by. My mission in music is bigger than just spread the word, it’s ultimately to bring God into music and override the music industry from idols that negatively impacted our youth.
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I’m indeed an independent artist! I do have some plans in mind to get signed but I know who I want to sign me and I’ve had discussions with that particular person and it’ll take a while to get the ball rolling, with God all that will be possible.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
My biggest challenge in my music career that I’ve notice to be a trend is to get seen! I need people to hear this music and figuring out the algorithms so I can get seen on playlists. I believe that working with a team is important and people that actually believe in the potential of the artist in front of them. Im building my team and utilizing the resources/services that have been laid on the table and I am super grateful!
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I have released 7 songs to date; 1) save us, 2) Ahead of my time (EP 4 songs), 3) End of this road, 4) Last Flight.
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
Indeed, Last flight is a piggy back off of ‘End of this road’. In Last flight I’m explaining that this is my last flight, meaning this is all I have left and once I finish the will God has for me I’ll then take off to heaven where the lights shine. I then go on in the verse to share with the audience the conversation I had with Christ and the advice he gave me. The prechorus after that is letting anyone know that you can be open emotionally, mentally with Christ without being judged and you can let it Glow, because Christ is loving and open minded.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I do have a song I’m currently working on, I want to involve my church I go to ‘Liberty Live church’ here in Virginia, I’m looking forward to collaborate with their choir and create a worship song called ‘You deserve it’ giving The Lord worship, Glory and praise. I also have an Album I’m slowly putting together called ‘Final Greetings’ which is mainly towards worldly troubles, exposing truths, standing for Christ, and inspiring others to unite as a species to not let evil invade in these times we are in biblically.
