Where are you based?
Hickory, NC

How long have you been making music?
2 years

What genre would you consider your music to be?
Hip-Hop/Rap

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I’ve always had love for the music especially the rap game. It was like a mentor when I didn’t have a parent or guardian around to tell me what to do. Learned the good with the bad but it molded me into the person and man I am today.

What are your biggest musical influences?
Hov, Styles P, Busta Rhymes, Luda, Missy Elliott, New School I like Earl Sweatshirt, Mac Miller, Freddie Gibbs, Nip, many more them guys are the first that come off the top.

Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I’m a Indie Artist signed to my own label, Swede Genius Money Group or SGMG for short, that contract is eternal for a fact (chuckles).

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Finding a lane, a niche that makes me stand out from others in my image mostly. There’s so many people that sound alike but they all got a “It” factor that makes their respective fanbases gravitate towards them, I didn’t have that I’m learning the ropes of that aspect in a snowball effect way. That and learning to accept that everyone not gonna rock with my style and there’s gonna be hecklers I want to hit in the face but I gotta be professional as a brand, there’s ways to do things without getting all “Goodfellas” on people I represent a brand as well as a home. I got mouths to feed that depends on what I do and how I move so I do right by that.

How many songs or albums have you released to date?
One dropped my first album Amethyst August 28 of last year. Good balanced album I was satisfied of the outcome still have plenty of work to do. Hopefully the fans see an improvement in my sophomore effort, “Dr. Satin 1” dropping this October 4th on all streaming platforms.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
My latest release is titled “HourGlass”, it’s a reflection of our past history as people in a sense of what makes us great as well as what makes us bitter? How can that change to bless the next generation before they inherit our bad habits? And how to make the most of what we possess in life? It’s just a song to humble us as people and be grateful for who and what we have.

Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
My album Dr Satin will be one for the record books when it’s all said and done. Good production, substantial content, with a few catchy tracks. I have something for everybody pretty much who loves music from a artistic perspective plus I have some amazing features from my camp. Please show some love and stay tuned.
