After hearing late great songwriter static major had asked him to send over a demo m d a a t h then had all the inspiration he needed to record his first Underground demo titled “Black Acid” in 1999 at the young age of 10yrs old. his demo tape then caught the ear of Local Artist & CEO of 12-gauge records “Jewlz” MDaath would then go on to record his follow-up debut in 2001 tittled “BMW” with street hits like “Killing Season” & “Kzell” Word around town would begin to spread about the talents of a barely 13 year old putting together whole albums… 2008 he went on to find his own record label “Official Records” that same year & release his independent debut “The Tempest: Lost tapes” which would go on to receive critical reviews & Start a local and International Buzz.

Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I feel like Independence is the key the artist who can conquer the independent feel will have a long lasting career. Because the entire goal is to work for yourself and manufacture your own records, write your own music & run your own label.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Learning the business aspect of it royalties mechanical royalties upfront deposits collecting the back end at shows booking my own shows setting release dates writing and keeping up with my own touring schedule not having a machine behind me!

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
My latest release was a mixtape. It was on my independent imprint official records. It features production from North Carolina Legend DJ Flash of the rap group little brother. The song is called dolly, and I am super proud of this release
