Lost Sound Boys, popularly known as LSB, is a group of four Nigerian-Canadian based artists who specialize in Afrobeats with a twist of Afro pop. Raised in Nigeria and united in Toronto, their love for music and dance brought together the band with their debut single “Holla” released on May 8th 2020 followed by their fan favourite hit single “Vroom Freestyle”. The band prepares their fans for a host of releases this year, with their latest single “Distrub”

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Our biggest inspiration was our love for music and dance. We individually and collectively have musical backgrounds. Over the pandemic we decided to try something different and 2 years later here we are
What are your biggest musical influences?
Our major musical influences are the ability to express your emotions with rhythm and also those who appreciate us, the fans.

We are independent artists
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
The biggest challenge we faced was starting a music career deep in the lockdown. It was difficult getting the music out there In person but this was an obstacle quickly tackled by social media and online interactions

We have released 12 songs and 1 EP till date
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
Lost Sound Boys and Bolu Ajibade brought together an Afro Drill with melodies and instruments that hypes not just the music but the listener; blessing their ears with melodies infused with 808 and soothing strings. The track empowers youths with piercing lyrics relatable to diverse cultures while remaining under the modern Afrobeats umbrella with the popular street language “broken English” guiding the story telling aspect of the song. In summary, they made a gem; hope you love it as much as we do !

Definitely, there are plans to drop at least 2 more singles this year and a possible album next year
