How long have you been making music?
37 Years

What genre would you consider your music to be?
Lyrical Hip Hop/Jazz Rap

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my Grandma Mary Wilson-Grider (former Warner Bros Gospel Singer) and my 2nd Cousins The GAP Band.

What are your biggest musical influences?
Michael Jackson, New Edition, LL Cool J, Tupac, Mac Dre, Nas, MF Doom, Tyler the Creator, Kool Keith and Del the Funky Homosapien.

Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I own my own imprint AT HOME RECORDS.

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Switching over from the physical copy/hard copy world of music and doing shows, and into the digital world of music.

How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I have released 50 E.P.’s/Albums and over 500 individual singles.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
With this new album offering “A Good @$$ Job (Songwriter)”, L-Love has combined the offensive and unorthodox content of MF Doom and Tyler the Creator, with the lyricism of Kool Keith and Del the Funky Homosapien, all while giving you Nate Dogg and Butch Cassidy (Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle Records) type chorus’/hooks on those very songs.

Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I am looking into creating and releasing an EDM/House version of the lead single from “A Good @$$ Job (Songwriter)” titled “24601” and pushing it through a Marketing & Promotion campaign to European Markets.
