since 1997, using Sound Recorder to mess with sounds from the PC game Civilization I.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Music has always affected me more than other art; I’ve always been fascinated by beats and textures. Hearing DJ Shadow’s “Entroducing” LP made me realize I could do it myself.

RZA, EL-P, DJ Screw, Velvet Underground, Pink Floyd

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
“Every Day” is a posse cut in the tradition of “Scenario (remix)” “Triumph”, and “1 Train”. It’s a showcase for up-and-coming rappers and features a hot first verse from AOTY candidate Boldy James.
