deep spirituality. His EP ‘Soul Desires’ made waves in the music scene, with the track ‘Fantasy’ gaining significant
momentum among contemporary RnB enthusiasts. HJ Soul released his poignant album ‘All In The Mind,’ delving into
the intricate realms of the human psyche and spirituality. Notably, he also released the single ‘Can’t Take This
Anymore,’ dedicated to raising awareness for mental health. His lifelong aspiration to venture into a journey of solitude
to achieve his goals through the obstacles that life poses, was perfectly told in an emotional and powerful ballad
‘Unbreakable’ with a movie soundtrack feel to it, credit to his unyielding passion and emotional depth. His endless faith
and spirituality play a significant role in his music, guiding him through life’s challenges and helping him find his true

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I always thought to pursue a career that is aligned with my purpose or soul path in life, and I would like to fulfill that if I can in this lifetime.

Brandy, Stevie Wonder, Boyz II Men and Lauryn Hill

I’m an independent artist
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
There’s been many hurdles in his music career so far, and this has inspired him to talk about these struggles in the words of some of his songs. He knows that it is a journey that he must take himself, and that he needs to be the source of is own inspiration to continue with it, and that needs a tremendous amount of courage and faith which he has in abundance. He will continue to be more patient with this journey and fulfill his destiny to accomplish these goals that he has set for himself.

I have 10 releases to date and many more this year and next year to follow
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
I wrote a song that could examine the ‘Illusions’ of society and this masterpiece is a labour of creativity, with an intricately weaving story, offering a unique perspective on how certain belief systems impact the way individuals are tied within the matrix of this world, and how escaping this chaos can be achieved through one’s inner knowing to follow their own journey. Illusionism flaunts entrancing melodies and was created using the bass/acoustic guitar, keyboard, drums and backing vocals.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I actually have a new single out next month, and I am currently in the middle of writing the song and the words will be about an interesting love story that is a fantasy at the moment, although could be something special with potential.
