HAND ON HEART is an Italian an hardrock band formed in Montecatini Terme (Tuscany) in 2017. The band members are all experienced. Alessandro Moschini and Sergio Leonetti played in the 80s in another hardrock band, G.L.A.S., that released an EP entitled “Audax Vincit” that is researched from collectors. Alessandro Moschini also played bass guitar with H.A.R.E.M., a street metal band from Lucca led by Freddy Delirio, keyboarder of Death SS here as singer and with Charisma, a hardrock project sung in Italian with Damn Freaks’ drummer Matteo Panichi. Gianluca Niccoli and Alessandro Moschini are also involved in another project: the acoustic duo COFFEE & FLOWERS that released 2 albums. Christian Evans, an English guitarist living in Tuscany since 1999 over 20 years, played with many local bands. Where are you based?
We are based in Tuscany/Italy in a little town called Montecatini Terme
How long have you been making music?
We exist as a band since 2017 but all the members have decades of experience
What genre would you consider your music to be?
We think that AOR/Hard Rock are the genres that most define our musical style
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Our passion for music is guiding us. The will to express our true emotions and the wish to be listened by the people.
What are your biggest musical influences?
We listen to many music genres but we are most of all influenced by the hard rock of the 70s and 80s of bands like Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard,Whitesnake, Bon Jovi, Van Halen etc…
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
We are signed to the valued Italian Label METAL ZONE ITALIA
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
With our song “For You” we reached the third place at the American World Songwriting Award in which artists from 130 countries of the world participated. It was a great satisfaction for us
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
Our debut album “Space” contains 9 songs
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
The album is a mix of AOR, hard rock, blues, acoustic americana with the roots in the 70s and 80s. We recorded and mixed it by ourselves in our Audax Vincit Recording Studio.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
At the moment we are finalizing the production of our first video that will be out in the next 2 weeks on Spotify. We are also working on the songwriting of new songs for our next album.
