She has starred in national campaigns for top brands like Gap, Levi’s, and Skechers, walked runway shows in New York, Paris, Milan, and Los Angeles, and appeared in ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, and Glamour. A two-time U.S. Presidential Service Award recipient, Ellory also co-hosted a major Los Angeles Toys for Tots drive and served as a Teen Reporter for the Kids Mental Health Foundation, interviewing celebrities and leaders.

How long have you been making music?
I’ve always loved music, but I started taking songwriting seriously over the last few years. Once I started writing my own songs, it became a way to say things I probably wouldn’t know how to explain otherwise.
What genre would you consider your music to be?
I’d describe it as singer-songwriter pop with an indie/alternative influence. Lyrics are usually where everything starts for me. I tend to get stuck on a thought or a question, and writing the song is almost like trying to figure out what I actually think about it.
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I think it was realizing that I could take something that had been living in my head and turn it into an actual song. Then someone else could hear it and think, “Wait, I’ve felt that too.” I loved that, and I wanted to keep doing it.
What are your biggest musical influences?
I’m really inspired by artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Gracie Abrams, Phoebe Bridgers and Noah Kahan. I love songwriters who get really specific with their lyrics. Sometimes it’s one thought or one tiny detail that makes you feel like you somehow know exactly what they’re talking about.
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I’m an independent artist. I really like having the freedom to experiment and let each song be a little different. I’m still discovering where my music can go, and that’s one of the most exciting parts for me.
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Probably learning not to overthink everything. I can rewrite one line a hundred times because I want it to say exactly what I mean. Then sometimes I end up going back to the first thing I wrote anyway.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
Seventeen Years is my fourth single. I started releasing music in 2026 with In Between, followed by Threads and Girl I Buried.
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
Seventeen Years is basically me having an argument with my anxiety after letting it take up space in my head for seventeen years. I liked the idea of treating anxiety almost like a person who has completely overstayed their welcome. There’s frustration in the song, but there’s also some humor and freedom in finally saying, “You’ve been here long enough. I’m kicking you out.” It felt different from writing a song about wishing anxiety would disappear. This one is more about deciding it doesn’t get to be in charge anymore.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
Definitely. I’ve been writing and recording a lot, and there’s more music coming. I’m trying not to decide ahead of time what every song is supposed to sound like. I like seeing where the idea takes me.
