David Sosa is a New York-based singer and songwriter known for his rich, genre-blending sound. Influenced by opera, jazz, Broadway, and rooted in the soul of 60s, 80s, and 90s R&B, his music bridges classic and contemporary styles. His debut album Journey to Love reached #3 on iTunes’ Top 100 R&B Albums in 2020. His latest singles, “About U” , “Just A Little While,” and “Supplication” are streaming now, with his sophomore album Ups, Downs, & In-Betweens set for release this September 30, 2025.

Navigating engineers in studios, not comparing myself to other artists and understanding I bring exactly what I Bring to the table.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
This record maps real life: the rises, the falls, and the spaces we grow through. Its campy, fun, sometimes heady and heavy but it reflects the various energies of life and the experience therein.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I release my sophomore project 09/30/2025. Ups, Downs, & In-Betweens really chronicles a huge chunk of my life. I also been working on some House/Dance music, so always check for that.
