Where are you based?
Los Angeles, CA
How long have you been making music?
Since 2008
What genre would you consider your music to be?
Pop, with a cinematic flare
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
“What inspired me to pursue music was the need to express emotions I couldn’t put into words any other way. Music became my therapy. It helped me process pain, heartbreak, ambition, and dreams. I’ve always felt like an outsider growing up, and music gave me a voice—a world where I could be unapologetically myself. Artists like Michael Jackson and Prince inspired me with their bold creativity and storytelling. I wanted to create that same kind of magic, where music isn’t just heard, it’s felt. That’s what drives me every time I write or step into the studio.”
What are your biggest musical influences?
“My biggest musical influences are artists who weren’t afraid to break the mold and turn their emotions into powerful visuals and sound. Michael Jackson, Prince, and Nicki Minaj really shaped how I see music, not just as something to listen to but as a full sensory experience. I’ve always admired their ability to blend vulnerability with bold production and strong storytelling. Brandy is my favorite female vocalist of all time. Her vocal arrangements, tone, and emotional delivery are unmatched. I’m also deeply inspired by cinematic composers because I love creating music that feels like a movie. It’s dramatic, layered, and emotional. I want my music to take people somewhere, just like my influences did for me.”
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
“I consider myself an independent artist, but I do have a distribution deal through Rob Schwartz’s imprint, WHOMAG, which is under Sony. It is strictly a distribution agreement with no advance, no management, and just a platform to release my music. I am still actively looking for a full record deal and the right management team, and I trust that when the timing is right, God will align everything.”
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
“The biggest musical challenges I’ve faced have been learning to believe in myself when the path was not clear. Being independent means carrying the weight of every decision without a big team or label behind me. It is tough when you are a perfectionist like me wanting every song to be flawless but having to trust the process and know when to let go. Finding my unique sound and staying true to my vision in an industry full of trends has not always been easy but those challenges have made me stronger. They have taught me that persistence, faith, and staying authentic are the keys to building a career that lasts.”
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
“I think I have about nine songs out. The track that really started to get people interested was called ‘Drama,’ which I released in 2021.”
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
“‘Dirty Playground’ is one of the most honest songs I have put out. It came from a place of real emotion about the chaos and confusion that can come with relationships and life’s ups and downs. I wanted to make a song that you can really move to in the club but that also tells a deeper story. For me, it is about showing both the fun and the struggle, the light and the dark. This song means a lot because it is me being vulnerable while still keeping that energy and vibe that gets people hyped. It is like inviting people into my world, the messy and beautiful parts all at once.”
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
“Absolutely! I’m always working on new music and projects. Right now, my main focus is promoting ‘Dirty Playground’ since it’s the debut that really introduces people to my sound. I want to get as many people as possible interested and connected to my music. At the same time, I’m crafting my next set of songs that show my growth and evolution as an artist. I want to give my fans fresh sounds they can connect with both emotionally and energetically. While I don’t have a specific release date to share just yet, I’m excited about what’s coming and can’t wait to share it with everyone soon.”
