I began working with vocal coaches in the late 80’s which then moved onto working with producers recording demo tracks for labels and artists alike. I began writing and recording my own demos in the mid 90’s through to around 2011. I then began working with young disabled adults and it was lovely to see just how music had such a positive effect. Tinkering around on homemade instruments and singing was such a lovely thing for people who were totally non verbal usually. In 2017 I relocated from Brighton to London where I continued my singing with a chorus, it took a while to find the right one and a year and a half ago I joined ‘The Brighton Gay Mens Chorus’…with over 100 members it is the largest Gay Mens Chorus outside of London. With talented music professionals leading the chorus we put on several shows a year both in the UK and Europe. We raise funds for local causes too which is also lovely. We pretty much don’t stop – The Brighton Fringe, Private Bookings, Pride Shows, Various Voices among other things. I now fit my own recording and promotion around this busy schedule. I am currently recording at Blue Dot Studios in Brighton working with Musician/Engineer and Producer Olli Daffarn.

My own tracks 7. Tracks for others – lost count…
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
Footprints was originally recorded by a German artist named Sandra and is a track on her 2002 album ‘The Wheel of Time’. Sandra is the ex wife of Michael Cretu of Enigma and she was huge across Europe right throughout the 80’s and 90’s.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I have had really lovely feed back from Sandra fans who have asked for entire album of covers, so thats my ongoing project currently. Potentially one album of covers and another of remixed versions. Radio have been brilliant with several stations playing the track, Native Family Radio picked up on Footprints pretty much immediately and have been incredibly supportive.
