Where are you based?
London

How long have you been making music?
Over 15 years

What genre would you consider your music to be?
House

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
I have always wanted to be a singer because I was always really good at singing from a young age.

What are your biggest musical influences?
I feel like I take a lot of my musical influence from the people around me and my environment also my life experiences. In terms of artists I am influenced by Iove Sinead Harnett and I aspire to have a musical catalogue as big as Mariah Carey one day. All the great power house singers with big strong vocals have always been a huge influence to me.

Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I am independent artist.

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
I have found that thee biggest challenges I have faced to date in my music career is finding that work life balance, as now everyone is on social media trying to be an influencer. It sometimes feels like the art and the work that goes in to being a solo artist like myself gets taken for granted. I also struggle with my mental health a lot so I found that the past few years being in and out of pandemics has been especially hard. I recently discovered and started practicing mindfulness and learning meditation. This has really helped me.

How many songs or albums have you released to date?
1 album. 1 EP. And most recently 2 solo singles collaborating with various different house producers.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
It is a collaboration with big time house producer Jay Baptiste. We have produced an upbeat feel good soulful deep house dance song which is perfect for the summer! It will most definitely get you ready for when those clubs open and eager to hit the dance floor and start cutting up them shapes! It has a real hard hitting and thumping base line and the lyrics are about not being able to live without your one true love!! (Only real hard core house music fans will understand what cutting shapes means!)

Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I am currently working on writing new songs and I always have new works in the works so the best way to not miss out is to subscribe to my mailing list through my website and to follow me on all socials. I plan to go in an all new musical direction of neo soul next year! So watch this space! This year I will just be churning out lots more house music! So keep it sweet!
