Every artist has a journey, what are some of your highlights?
Hello! Wow, looking back on how I got to where I am now is a trip… I grew up doing musical theatre, and absolutely fell in LOVE with being on stage and performing. It is always where I feel most like myself. I started writing, and realized I could express myself through my own music… And here I am now!
Please explain your music to someone who may have never heard it before & share the latest happenings…
My music is a mix of pop r&b, and jazz. I recently got into the studio with Grammy award winning producer Warren Huart to create my debut album… So stay tuned to hear more! (:
What do you think a city like Los Angeles can do in order to foster the talent of young artists like yourself?
I am a “glass half full” kind of gal… I believe there are so many opportunities for artists to be heard, and have exposure due to social media. There are a lot of different outlets to discover fresh talent and I find it pretty remarkable. I think LA does a great job of letting new artists perform in clubs and bars to show off their stuff. The sense of community for musicians and artists in LA is unlike any other city I have seen.
