Chaz Warhol strides as a soul artist began with his love for 60’s, 70’s and 90’s r&b, soul and jazz tunes. As a singer-songwriter, he started his journey performing at open mic events and nightclubs in Baltimore, MD and throughout the DMV. Unsure of which route to go in his craft, he took to photography to further his passion in visual arts. Moved by the pictures he’d take of people, nature and other objects, he utilized it to push himself into writing music. His overall vision on the world allowed him to channel it with words and sounds. Not to mention, his neutral upbringing, and learnings on self would inspire such gritty, yet feel-good and motivational lyrics and improve his vocal range

I’ve been making music for about 2 years.

I would consider my music to be R&B/Soul
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
What inspired my music was through my upbringing at home, listening to a lot of Al Green with my grandmother, and other countless soulful acts with my parents.

Erykah Badu, D’Angelo, Music Soulchild, Jill Scott and Lauryn Hil

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
My biggest challenges in my music would have to be stay consistent with creating the content at times.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I have 2 projects to start, my ep titled “Ageless”, also my debut album “U Gotta Love Yourself” and it’s deluxe version.
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
My album, “U Gotta Love Yourself” is about the trials and tribulations of my healing journey. Going through the motions, whilst upholding accountability of my actions to get through a breakup.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
Yes indeed. My new single, “ I Want U ” is scheduled to release this Friday, 09/30/22. It will be available on all platforms.
