Black Kaspa was born in Wilson N.C. & raised in Youngstown Ohio. His real name is James Horne & he has been rapping for 14 years. Being a hothead at a young age got him in and out of the prison system and he never looked to actually persue music until his mother passed in 2017. Having kids and gaining a sense of urgency motivated him that life is bigger than the streets. Releasing music constantly since, he’s looking to become MORE than just a street KING. 3 mixtapes in and his forth one in the works, the only thing that can stop him now is himself 🙌🏿🦍

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
The ability to display words, it always got me

Jay-Z is my first overall, but 3Stacks, Pac, BIG. I mean I have a bunch, but the weirdest one would prob be DaBaby. Like actually seein his growth from the beginnin is just crazy
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I have a Record Label of my own called “KlubHouse Entertainment” that I’m tryna build up but, me personally I am an independent artist
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Shows! Actually trying to build in a small city is crazy

The single I just dropped is entitled “GANG” & it’s just me havin fun wit my team
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
New CD should be dropping around 3rd Qtr of 2020. With all this stuff goin on hopefully I can still deliver on time. Just kno it’s gonna be very different and creative
