American Sound Crew was started first and foremost to catalog my music with the intent of distributing it for Sync in film and TV and showcase for other artists to record. The group does not have set members. I do the writing, engineering, mixing and mastering. It is all guest tracks, live tracks, sample and ai combined. Our most recent release is Death of the Divas.

I started my career in opera and metal. All of the new Conrad Noto’s American Sound Crew albums do not have a specific genre they are very mixed in nature, although most have a theme.
What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
Many things, but due to recent medical issues my intents are shifted. After covid I focused on writing/cataloging rather than performing. I am launching a label Shire Road Records officially in 2026
What are your biggest musical influences?
All, I listen to everything, always something to learn.
Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
As before mention I now have my own indie label Shire Road Records
What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Recently, health. I had a major heart attack a few years ago and several stents since. Don’t think I am up to touring so I write/compose, produce, engineer and mix. Might return to frontman position after a little more physical theraphy.
How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I have eighteen with various groups over the years. There six current released with American Sound Crew, three more completed for release in 2026.
Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
I met Whitney Houston several times in the late 80’s. I had a few songs demoed I was trying to get her to record back then. Nothing came of it. Recent deaths inspired the album. I have had the honor of knowing many incredible vocalists. We lost Layne Staley years ago and Ace Frehley recently. I used to drink with him and jam at a night club called the Red Spot on Staten Island in NY. Although this isn’t hard rock or metal for the most part. It is a dedication to our music legends. legends to my generation.
Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
Yes, we are releasing ” O.G Alphabet City ” January 1st. A full story about gang violence and love gone bad set in the late 70’s to mid 80’s. A rock/rap/metal hybid album based on some true facts but expanded in a fantasy saga. In February, We are releasing “The Vampires Last Dance” which is very nostalgic rock/metal mixed with contemporary sounds, orchestra and amazing piano.
