She is a Berklee College of Music graduate, originally from Trenton, NJ, who earned her bachelor’s degree in guitar performance. She had two consecutive singles that charted on the Music Row Breakout Charts including “Bump, Bump Bump” (#74) and “Feels Like It’s Gonna Rain” (#61). Re co-produced her first album Believin’ Is Seein’ with producer Bartley Pursley which was released Spring of 2024. So how would Re describe her musical style? “You take a real smooth Pinot Noir, mix it with little dirt, add an ice cube, and stir it up real hard,” she says with a wicked smile.

Where are you based?
I am based out of Columbia, Tn which is about 46 miles from Nashville.

How long have you been making music?
I started writing songs when I was 9 years old. At 12 years old, I started singing and playing the guitar.

What genre would you consider your music to be?
It is modern country/americana with traditional country roots.

What inspired you to pursue a career in music?
When I was 5 years old I would swing outside and listen to music on my Mickey Mouse radio. One day I asked my mom what those people “in” the radio did for a living. She said singing was their job. I immediately said “that’s what I want to do when I grow up”.

What are your biggest musical influences?
Growing up, my parents listened to country music. Everyday I would hear the voices of Waylon Jennings, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, Loretta Lynn etc…echoing throughout the house. These legends definitely influenced my love for country music. Later on, one of my biggest influences was Linda Ronstadt. I lover her music and she has an amazing voice!

Are you signed to a label or are you an independent artist?
I am an independent artist and I have my own label called TrendyGirl Records.

What have been the biggest challenges in your music career?
Up until recently, it has been juggling a full time job and being an independent artist. The full time job helped fuel the costs of recording and promoting the music. However, there were opportunities I had to turn down due to a full time work schedule. Recently, I made the decision to pursue music full time which has its own challenges. I am my own CEO and am very hands on with all aspects of my career. It is a challenge to juggle the daily administrative duties vs. the time needed to be creative as an artist.

How many songs or albums have you released to date?
I have released 11 songs and my album Believin’ Is Seein’ was released in 2024.

Can you tell us a few things about your latest release?
My latest single is “Momma Always Knows”. I wrote it for my mom for Mother’s Day two years ago. It was the day before Mother’s Day and I said “God, I wish I had written a song for my mom”. At that moment the melody and lyrics popped into my head. I recorded it on my iPhone and sent it to my mom. She told me I should share it with the world because moms will be able to relate to the lyrics. It’s about how moms just know the right words to say to make us feel loved even when we don’t say a word.

Any plans for new music or upcoming projects we should know about?
I am currently in the studio working on my new album to be released in 2026.
